COMPUTATIONAL MODELLING AND INTELLIGENCE PERSPECTIVE TOWARDS INTERNET OF THINGS (IoT) AND INDUSTRY 4.0 (I4.0)
The rapid advances in computer technology and intelligence have led to increasingly the development of more complex computational models. The role of computational modelling and intelligence in meeting the needs, with relevant research and tools have offers opportunities for society and new fundamental research challenges exist throughout. With the advent of Internet of Things (IOT) and Industry 4.0 (I4.0), the role of computational modelling and intelligence become more significant and relevant. This presentation proposes a computational modelling and intelligence perspective towards IoT and I4.0 which covers relevant studies within the area of security, education, image and text recognition, mathematical modelling and healthcare.

KEYNOTE SPEECH TITLE: The Power of Scheduling in Optimization Research.
Nowadays, scheduling research still remains one of the most important research areas despite being studied for years. The emergence of various new heuristics in recent years has successfully attracted many researchers to applying them for solving various problems in various research domains. Those research domains include high performance computing, internet and computer network, operational research, big data, multimedia and image processing, applied engineering and many more.
Scheduling is a process of assigning tasks (or jobs) to resources, aiming to satisfy their constraints as far as possible. The selection of a good scheduling strategy for a particular problem is important as the nature of problems is different from one to another, and it has a big impact on the system performance as a whole. By doing so, the problems that are classified as NP hard, can easily find their optimal solutions, able to produce good quality solutions more efficiently, i.e. reducing the computational time, balancing the loads among various resources. Therefore, the existing resources can be utilised and more users/tasks can be brought into the system.
Abdullah Muhammed is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Communication Technology and Networks, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). He received his PhD degree from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom. He was a Software Engineer at Acctrak21 from 1998 until 1999, before joining UPM as a tutor. He served as journals reviewer, honorary chair of a conference and conferences committee from 2008 until now. He has been actively involved in the Grid computing project. His other research interests include scheduling, heuristics, systems optimisation, cloud computing, wireless sensor network and Internet of Things (IoT). He is currently the Head of Department at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, UPM.

Keynote Speech Title: The Future of Intelligent Robots
Robot is very popular today. The expectations concerning the development of intelligent robots over the next decade are quite modest. An interesting way to approach autonomous operation whilst realizing useful applications along the way is to devise the means by which humans can interact with robot.
For the last 3 years, we focused on 2 models of intelligent robots, such as service and humanoid robot that will be very popular in the future. The challenging tasks for those robots are how speech recognition system and computer vision systems to recognize peoples and dynamic environments. I will deliver some important aspect and result of our experiments in this area.
Widodo Budiharto is a Senior Lecturer and researcher at the School of Computer Science, Binus University Jakarta-Indonesia. He received his PhD degree from the Institute of Technology Sepuluh Nopember, Surabaya. He served as journals reviewer, general chair of an Elsevier conference and conferences committee from 2011 until now. He is Project leader for the development of Intelligent Telepresence robot and humanoid robot in Indonesia. He also author of some computer and robotics books in Indonesia.
